EiG indoor football tournament

Thanks to everyone who played at the first EiG indoor football tournament. Below are some pictures from the event. The games were rather close with the green team winning the 7 a-side games, and the white team winning the 5-a-side tournament.
I will be running another igaming football event on Monday 21st January 2008, the day before ICEi, so please contact me for more details, stephen.jury@clariongaming.com.

Everything you need to know about EiG 2007

Don't despair if you haven't yet booked your place for next week's EiG. You can still book your place on-site at the registration terminals, and join over 1,000 industry professionals already registered to attend the biggest i-gaming event of the year.

The last 2007 EiG newsletter doubles as a handy quick reference guide that includes everything you need to know about next week's EiG.

On-site Registration

Online registration has now closed, but you can still book your place on-site. A full conference pass costs € 1,667 + 16%, with an expo pass costing € 695 + 16%.
Please be aware there are no on-site discounts of any kind, or one day rates.

The EiG Party

This is the big one! Looking to top last year's smashing success at the Carpe Diem Lounge Club, we have found the perfect venue that will accommodate the huge crowd expected at EiG while still maintaining that WOW-factor everyone has come to expect from this event.

The Opium Cinema Restaurant & Lounge Club is without a doubt one of the most glamorous venues in Barcelona. Converted from an elegant cinema, it has retained the original's sophistication while gaining a chilled-out, cosmopolitan atmosphere, which makes it the perfect spot for the EiG Party.

Don't make any night-time plans for Wednesday, 3 October because if you're attending EiG, you simply must attend the EiG Party, kindly sponsored by Harris Hagan and Finsoft. EiG wrist bands given at registration are required for entry.

Speakers

With over 80 expert speakers committed to this year's EiG, the EiG programme is jam-packed with hours of essential topics being shared and discussion by senior executives in the industry. Here is a highlight of some of the world-class speakers participating in EiG next week:

Text Alerts

New this year we're launching a new SMS service that will keep delegates informed about parties, events, and other news going on in Barcelona and at the conference. To make sure you get your alerts, please send your mobile phone number including country code by Sunday 30th September, or when you are on-site use the Text2Meet terminals. Please note, you will not be contacted on this number after EiG.

EiG Entertainment Guide

To help you find your way around the bars and restaurants of Barcelona, and to give you details of what's going on and where, attendees will be presented with a networking survival guide at the registration desk on arrival.

Networking Lunches and Refreshment Breaks

These provide fuel to keep you going throughout the day and an opportunity to discuss the conference, the gossip and the future with your colleagues. Refreshment break areas are located outside the conference rooms, and lunches take place at the back of the expo hall.

Helpful Tips

Whether this will be your first EiG or you are a seasoned veteran, here are a few tips to help make the most of your time at EiG:

  • The CCIB entrance across the pedestrian avenue from the Hilton hotel is the entrance for EiG.
  • Registration desks open at 10.00 am on Tuesday, 2 October. All attendees must go to registration to pick up their event materials and name badge. Conference name badges must be worn at all times during EiG.

The EiG wrist band will also get you free drinks and discounts on food at various establishments around Barcelona! Show organisers have arranged for delegates to get first-class treatment both at EiG and around town.
  • If you did not sign up to participate in Text2Meet or Text Alerts, you can find terminals in the Internet Café inside the exhibition to opt-in or to use the Text2Meet service.
